How the unlock system works
Every level below is from Activision's official launch equipment guide. Create-a-Class unlocks at Player Level 4 — before that you use preset Default Loadouts, which is why levels 1–3 show so little.
Attachments unlock once and apply to every weapon that can take them, so a single unlock is not wasted. Apex Attachments are the final reward for maxing a weapon and do not occupy a standard attachment slot.
