ABOUT THIS SITE

AN INDEPENDENT GUIDE
THAT ADMITS WHAT IT DOESN'T KNOW.

MW4Multiplayer.org is an unofficial fan guide. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Activision.

How we source every fact

Every factual claim on this site traces back to a first-party page: an official Activision blog post, the Activision Support knowledge base, or the official store listing for the relevant platform. Each guide page carries a sources box naming the specific pages it drew from.

Confirmed, reported, or unknown

We use three levels, and we say which one applies:

  • Official — stated on a first-party Activision or store page.
  • Reported — published by media or community sources but not confirmed by Activision. Always labelled.
  • Unknown — not published anywhere reliable. We say so rather than filling the gap.

A worked example of why this matters

Many guide sites state that “Activision says the full game releases on October 23 at midnight local time.” We could not find that sentence anywhere in Activision's official material. The only time zone language Activision publishes is a footnote: “Actual Play Time Subject to Possible Outages and Applicable Time Zone Differences.” We publish the worldwide date, note the footnote, and tell you plainly that no regional schedule exists.

Editorial judgement vs official data

Some content here is opinion — how to prioritise a Perk, which Killstreak suits an objective, what to test first in the firing range. That is separated from the data and labelled as editorial. Where we group Killstreaks by function, that grouping is ours, not Activision's.
